Dennis Blomberg

I started playing in the 60's due to an interest in folk music. When the Lord opened my eyes to Spiritual things, I began to write songs that reflected my experience in Him. This resulted in spending the summer of 1970 in San Diego at a beach evangelism project sponsored by the Southeastern California Conference. There were 3 of us singer-songwriters who performed almost nightly through July and August. I continued to perform after this but after getting married and having kids, they got involved and I wrote some children's songs, as well. Most of that time I was in the Pacific northwest. Since returning to Southern California I have gotten involved in hymn singing through a group called "The Gathering Place Strummers and Singers". We have a program of hymn singing on LLBN.TV and have recorded over 100 programs which continue to air. We also go to churches and lead in singing as well. I recorded one group of songs at home which is not professionally done and another group of songs that has been balanced and mastered but I haven't had this made into a cd for sale. I am open to doing solo work in churches and gatherings as the Lord directs but have limited time to do this.
